Acnelan® offers a cross-cutting approach to address the numerous factors that trigger acne, combining an intensive clinical treatment for professional use with a complete range of intelligent home care products.
At the core of acnelan is the unique m.acne complex™ with active ingredients such as salicylic acid, mandelic acid, sodium lepargilate and shikimic acid which actively fight acne. The m.acne complex™ not only provides a deep cleanse, it also decreases redness and swelling. Furthermore, it has a depigmenting effect – in vitro studies show the m.acne complex™ decreases melanin synthesis.

What causes acne?
Acne vulgaris is a common chronic skin disease caused by excess androgen production involving a sequence of different triggers. It is a polymorphic skin condition characterized by various types of lesions, such as comedones, papules, pustules, nodules, scars and hyperpigmentation.
Acne may also have a social impact as it exacerbates social anxiety, which is already more prevalent during adolescence. As a result, it may have a detrimental effect on the quality of life and productivity of individuals affected by this condition.
What should I expect from Acnelan® program?
During the treatment, you may experience a slight sensation of mild heat, tingling, and a rashing sensation. This is because the active ingredients in the Acnelan® program are working on the keratinocytes of the skin to remove sebaceous buildup, impurities, and dead skin cells. Following this, our therapist will apply a layer of Zinc & Aloe Vera serum to protect and calm your skin, along with LED Therapy and a Soothing Hydrogel Mask.
After the treatment, you may notice your skin tightening and experiencing tingling sensations as skin cell turnover accelerates. Some peeling may occur post Acnelan® treatment, but within 48-72 hours, you can resume your normal daily activities with the combination us of Acnelan® Homecare routine.
How long does the treatment take?
Each session of Acnelan® treatment will take from 30-45minutes and will be space out every 15 to 21 days.
How many treatment are required?
The number of sessions needed for Acnelan® treatment can vary depending on individual skin conditions and goals. Typically, a series of 3 to 6 sessions spaced about 2 to 4 weeks apart is recommended for optimal results. However, this can be adjusted based on the severity of acne, skin sensitivity, and the desired outcome.
During the initial consultation, our therapist will assess your skin and develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your specific needs. We will also discuss the expected number of sessions and the frequency based on your skin’s response to the treatment.
Consistency and adherence to the recommended treatment schedule are key factors in achieving the best results with Acnelan®. Additionally, maintenance sessions may be advised to sustain the improvements and prevent future breakouts.
